"Growth is painful. Change is painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong."
-Mandy Hale
My Story
Ten days before my 39th birthday, I had emergency open-heart surgery. It cracked me open—literally and figuratively. In the process, I discovered the raw power of vulnerability, the courage it takes to start again, and the beauty of living in true alignment with what matters.
With nearly two decades in creative industries—leading teams, collaborating on brand direction, and telling stories—I know what it feels like to pour yourself into work, to one day realise that season is over. I also know the exhilarating freedom of rediscovering yourself, embracing change, and the uncertainty and fear of stepping into something new.
Now, I partner with creatives, midlife women, and change-seekers to help them pause, reflect, and move forward with clarity. Whether you’re redefining your career, shifting your mindset, or simply craving a more intentional way of living, I’m here to partner with you — one conversation, one story, one choice at a time.
You are in Good Hands
I don’t take the title coach lightly. These days, many people call themselves coaches, but here’s why you can trust me.
I believe in lifelong learning and am almost always busy upskilling myself. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching (NQF 8) and an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.
For my mentoring clients, I also draw on my diverse background and qualifications, including a BA in International Studies, a Diploma in Culinary Arts, and training in digital and brand marketing.
As a mother of two, I bring both empathy and perspective to the tension so many women face — balancing family responsibilities with self-care, and personal growth with professional ambition. I call this pursuit work–life harmony.
My years in brand and content work also enrich my coaching approach. I understand how identity, voice, and values shape not only individuals but also organisations.
Testimonial
“My sessions with Nicola have helped me tremendously to understand myself better and to untangle a whole bunch of issues that were causing overwhelm in all aspects of my life - family, work, home and personal. Nicola helped me regain my focus and set appropriate boundaries by guiding me with empathy to identify the core issues I needed to address and to articulate the values by which I wanted to live my life. “
